Young engineers of Krylov State Research Centre Andrey Labuzov, Maxim Rap, Konstantin Berezhnoy took part in the Second International Youth Educational Forum «The Arctic. Made in Russia» held between February 29 and March 6 at Seliger, Tver Region. KSRC specialists took the top spots as part of their teams.
The mission of forum was to resolve the business case for the concept of Arctic offshore gas field development. Forum participants were divided into 10 teams associating both Russian and foreign specialists. Profession range of participants was covered by 12 majors: project manager, petroleum engineer, construction designer, hydrocarbon resource development engineer, drilling engineer, cryolithologist, shipbuilder, geologist, economist, industrial safety engineer, oceanographer, and ecologist. Therefore, teams were able to handle the assigned tasks from different perspectives. The teams of participants with KSRC specialists being a part thereof took the second and the third top spots in the competition. On Forum completion, Konstantin Berezhnoy was invited to become a member of event’s organizing committee next year.
